Thirty countries make up this area where the population is estimated at 41,000,000. In 2010, The Methodist Church of the Caribbean and the Americas celebrated its 250th year. The church is engaged in Christian and general education programs with 73 pre-schools, two primary schools, 10 high schools, three colleges and one theological seminary. Educational programs reflect the local culture and tradition.
