Honduras is a very poor nation with an estimated population of 7.6 million and a literacy rate of 76 percent. The Methodist Church is rather new and small. The General Board of Global Ministries and the United Methodist Committee on Relief are actively involved in mission work in this nation, where there are 13 local churches and 900 members. Currently, pastors are trained at the seminary in Costa Rica, but the church is in dire need of dynamic leaders. WITH YOUR HELP… We can provide sound training for pastors at the community level.
