GIVE NOW

In collaboration with United Methodist Communications and the Côte d’Ivoire Annual Conference, the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry supported the implementation of a new communication and distance learning center in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. This project included equipment installation and radio broadcasting training. The Methodist Global Education Fund for Leadership and Development built the infrastructure of the center, while United Methodist Communications provided training. The center was designed to promote lifelong learning in several areas through courses offered by UMECI. These areas of study range from theology and public health to agriculture and business management. In cooperation with the Texas Annual Conference, the radio station was completed and commissioned in 2010. It is currently among the top radio stations in the Abidjan metro area. With your support, the radio station can continue to grow and maintain its exceptional reputation throughout the region.
