Fiber Optics and Distance Learning

Africa
GIVE NOW

Cote d’Ivoire

In December 2012, the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry started setting up a fiber optics infrastructure to provide the basic technical facilities for distance/online learning at the Methodist University of Cote d’Ivoire.

While the students eagerly have gotten on board with the new tools, the major challenge is motivating the support staffs and professors who are not accustomed to this new teaching system. Even though several professors are being trained, there is great need to find ways to encourage them to use this powerful instrument effectively and efficiently to motivate other students and their parents.

Please help us support the growth of this Distance Learning Center to achieve global connectivity.
