GIVE NOW

Founded in 2000, the United Methodist University in Monrovia and Ganta, Liberia enrolls 2,000 full-time students in liberal and fine arts, theology, health sciences and education. More than half of the students major in a business-related discipline. The university is planning to move to Ganta where the Methodist Hospital and Nursing School are located and major industries are growing.

The university has strategically positioned itself to play a central role in offering distance education in West Africa in collaboration with the Faculty of Theology and Faculty of Health Sciences at Africa University. The university is capable of developing and delivering basic course modules for training via internet satellite. It can offer theological education courses online at the Sierra Leone Theological College and Church Training Center and offer post-secondary general education courses at 24 United Methodist secondary schools that serve 14,925 students.
