In a country where 56% of the gross national products are based on agriculture, this center will train rural farmers to transform their farms into highly productive and efficient operations using available technology and machinery. Africa University has been very successful in operating a 200-acre teaching farm producing grains, vegetables, dairy and meat products for consumption and sales. The North Katanga Annual Conference created the Agricultural Training Center in Kamina. With your help, these farmers can become self-sufficient, marking the first step in eliminating hunger, diseases and poverty in Africa. This project needs support to provide additional farm equipment, a satellite dish and internet access to connect the programs and preparation to include a radio broadcasting tower.
